    one of the great things about video games these days is that they let you save from where you last left off or the last point of the game if you lose a life with out having to redo the game all over

    well copared to video games of the 90's cause back then if you wanted to continue you had to start all over again for the start

    That was also part of the awesomeness of the old days. Although, I do admit to becoming accustomed to auto saves, etc.....but I sometimes miss the old days of having to start from scratch if ya lose all of your lives. That's why emulating rules, because now I can quicksave at any point while playing Ninja Gaiden! (and feel guilty about it)
