What was your first car you bought & drove? Mine is a ocean blue 2011 Ford Focus 2 door hatchback. It is very easy to drive as it has power steering, automatic transmission, cruise control and high-beam switch controlled by foot. It also has a CD/MP3/iPod player, rear independent suspension, reversing camera and a trailer towing hitch! I even hung my Oshawott mini talking plush on the rear view mirror and there's even an Oshawott keyring mascot on my car keys!:D

Lucky you ;) My first was a 1987 Nissan Hardbody pick-up. It had power nothing! No power door locks, no power windows, no power steering.......no cruise control. It had a key alarm with a air siren. It was such a luxury when I got my next car.....a 2000 Ford Taurus. Simple things like key-less entry and power steering was such a big deal to me.

And I had my first breakdown today! I was driving to the local car wash and an under-inflated rear tyre on the kerb side blew out! So with the help of a neighbour, he lifted the car with the provided jack while I took the wheel off and put the spare on, which was a temporary type. After the car was washed, I drove as carefully as possible to the nearest tyre & service centre to have the blown tyre replaced.

My first car was a 1997 Chevy Blazer. Words can't probably describe what a pile of junk it was. The transmission went out countless times, one speaker worked (and it was busted), bends all in it, etc.

I was proud to have it, but looking back, I put more money into it than it was actually worth.

My first car was a 1971 Mercury Marquis Brougham. I bought it from an elderly woman that said it was too much for her to handle on small neighborhood streets. That car had the full list of options including the high-compression 429-4bbl CJ V8 engine, requiring the highest octane fuel I could find while filling up twice or three times a week.

That Merc was a lightening-fast bordello on wheels.

We wanna hear about the Eldorado Edd!

My first car and still current car is a 1995 Volvo 850. It's a tank. Was a high end car back in the day too. Although pretty much all the inside functions cease to operate correctly, mechanically the car is great.

Wow, a Volvo dude, it will be our little secret v-man.

My Eldo was car #5, or was it #6? There was a couple of trucks in there somewhere so maybe it was #7 - now I'm all confused.

Hahaha, a secret? Is it not cool to drive a Volvo? At least it's not a station wagon model with a KQED bumper sticker. :(

Volvo's are cool cars, especially the coolest wagon on the planet, the 1800ES from 1972.

Technically the first car I rode regularly was my older brothers Honda Civic (when he went to college). But my first car was a 1985 Chrysler Laser.

Got it in 1988 and sold it a couple of years later.

A 1977 Cadillac Sedan DeVille. I bought it from one of my uncles. That car could haul ass, it had a 425 with Rochester Quadrajets. Butt ugly color though, tan with a brown roof.
