Even at my age I still enjoy the fantasy of expensive Christmas gifts. Like expensive wines, a custom-built kitchen or the finest furniture with a grand house to put it all in.

How about holiday entertaining with a complete Wedgwood Formal, 22k gold inlay, handcrafted Place Setting for 20 people from Williams-Sonoma? Or appliances so expensive the neighbors will think you've lost your mind!

Here's what got me going on this, the Thermador ProGrand Range/Oven. It has everything and costs as much as a second car. And don't get me started on refrigerators.

    TopLine Appliance...

Haha the older a person gets the more domestic they're fantasies I suppose! I totally see the appeal though, although like a nice car, I'd rarely use that oven for fear of denting it. When people would come over, I'd be like, "What are you doing?! Hands off the thermostat!!"

I'd like a Belstaff 554 shoulder bag and a Surefire Delta myself.

That's why I don't get rid of Christmas catalogs right away, I like looking for stuff that's waay too expensive just to add some fun to my wish list.

How about a Pierre Vaux Solid Wood Umbrella for $130.00?
Or maybe the E.S. Kluft & Co. Royal Standard luxury mattress for a mere $20 grand?

OK, now I'm onto the fridge! Let's shoot for the Sub-Zero BI-48 Custom Panel Refrigerator Series. Who wouldn't want a fridge bigger than their whole kitchen?
