YouTube revises its Channel offerings.

    		 Google invested $100 million this past year in funding for "advertiser supported" content for YouTube, with mixed results. Only a few sponsored channels drew a sizeable audience. Some current channels will be deleted while newer offerings get a chance.

    But so far its not looking like YouTube will give traditional broadcasters much to worry about. This year Google will invest additional money to pay for production equipment and, in some cases, pay the full production costs of new shows that will be "free to view" thanks to advertiser support.

    Do you guys have any favorite YouTube channels? I'm not all that impressed by anything I've seen so far.

    		 I have noticed a lot of videos with high production value that look almost like your average TV show. Some of the people make a lot of money, but it's gotten ridiculous. A Youtube celebrity will literally have like 5 channels, just to increase their adsense earnings. I don't see a show being as popular as TV just for the fact that when something is on TV, you have that one chance to see it pretty much. Where as Youtube the show will be on and watchable long after it premiered.

    		 well seeing as how i'm a youtube partner now, i might use a second channel for any flash animations that i'll do

    not really. they've asked me about fifteen different companies that i could advertise for, but i only chose two, so the minimum amount that i make a month is at a low rate of around $23.15 and it rarely inflates due to how many views i've gotten. i chose to have a low amount since i get enough money from my job

    EDIT: i wish i was making this up, but this is the video that got youtube's attention. i really have no idea why. but it got the most comments on my channel it seems...

    		 Wow - that's quite a scream, lol.

    I tend to run into stuff on YouTube in a random fashion. But there was one channel that I heard about through late night TV, called "Walter Latham Comedy", it's being hailed as a darker shade of comedy on the web and a launching pad for new talent.

    Let me confess that when it comes to comedy I like it clean. Tara "Miss P" Powell is one of the few new voices on "Walter Latham Comedy" that I can stand for the moment. Dirty is not the same as edgy when it comes to comedy. So I guess I'll be sticking with Jimmy Kimmel for now.
