I was just wondering if anyone ever had things their name on them when they were little because I had a lot of them and still do. Here's my list: Pens, toothbrushes, pencils, stickers, notepad paper, stamp, key chains, necklace, bracelet, my name in Thai from Thailand, a little license plate, a street sign, hats, Mickey Mouse ears, a thing from Walt Disney World's Space Mountain ride, a pin and I think that is all so does anyone else remember what they got with their name on it?

I used to get keychains on an annual basis. The local amusement park had name keychains in the gift shop, and I would get the "new model" each year.
I also had one of those books where your parents send in your name, favorite color/food/etc, and they insert the info into the prescripted book a la madlibs.
I'm pretty sure I also had a mini-license plate with my name, but I can't remember for certain.

I had a green ruler with "Bill" on it because they didn't have one with "Billy". In fact I think I still have it in a box somewhere. I remember several kids with shirts and belts with their names on them. This lost popularity in the 90s when it was determined that child predators could easily learn the the child's name.

I didn't. No. For some reason I had a real Bart Simpson problem.
"Bert. Bort? Who has the name Bort?"

As common of a name I had I don't quite recollect seeing stuff with my name on it all that much. So my parents just got me stuff made embroidered with my name on it. Still have the froggy blanket mom! :D

Yeah, I had a bunch of stuff. People loved buying me things from LL Bean, too. Best things I got with my name were the meanings of my name and my backpack, which I still use.

I never had anything with my name on it; I think it was because that information could have possibly been exploited by a stranger.

Back in the 80's, I would on occasion get pencils with my name on them. Since my father had his own business, he would order ink pens, sales receipts, and other personalized items from an office supply company. Every now and then that company would "throw in" a few free pencils and that's how I would end up with personalized pencils for school. I can only remember getting a few from 2nd to 4th grade.

At school people kept stealing my pencils, so my parents ordered pencils with my first and last name on them.

I remember one Christmas one relative gave everybody door nameplates. I know because my cousin has the same one, but it has her name on it.

It was hard for me to find things with my name on it because it was so popular. I remember they bought me stickers at the supermarket.

During the personalized craze of the 80s there was a store in the local mall that sold that kind of stuff; bags, lunchboxes, shirts, decor, etc. My parents didn't want me to buy shirts and things because they didn't want me to get kidnapped by somebody reading my shirt of backpack. I think they didn't want to buy those overpriced items in that store. One girl in my class had a personalized lunchbox from that store. Years later my aunt went to a swap meet and found me a personalized trash can. It looked just like the ones from that old store in the mall. I use to store my collection of Pokemon toys.

The one personalized thing I want, but never got was a necklace charm. Those were so popular when I was in junior high. Although my senior class ring did have my name on it.

My name wasn't easy to find at first, when all of these pencils and rules and what not first came out, so I never had any until I was in my late teens. Now I see Alyssa stuff everywhere, now that i'm not interested haha
    :)

Having the name Zergalerser, I often was disappointed when looking for my name on cheap novelties. With the exception of visiting my home country of Zergalria where 3 out of 4 men have the name Zergalerser.
