Hello, RetroJunk. I, Timbox, has returned after an absence of three years. Anyway, Wanna see what I think is one of the most emotionally touching images from the creator-driven era of TV animation? Well, here it is:

It is a beautiful, very moving, and emotionally touching screenshot taken from the Cartoon Network series Samurai Jack, which is created by Dexter's Laboratory creator and Hotel Transylvania director Genndy Tartakovsky. It shows Young Samurai Jack hugging his mother.

So, what do you guys think of this beautiful, moving, and emotionally touching image from Samurai Jack?

Yes. Genndy Tartakovsky indeed directed Hotel Transylvania after joining Sony Pictures Animation, right after Cartoon Network canceled Sym Bionic Titan because of the failure of a merchandising deal. And I also hear that Tartakovsky and Sony's Hotel Transylvania is much more successful than its much better-reviewed rivals.
