Total Body Chrome

    Just because I don't like the results won't stop this trend from spreading. Full body chrome can be a vinyl wrap process or you can go whole hog with the chemical chroming spray application.

    West Coast Customs did Justin Bieber's car, but I think the result makes the car less cool imho. Here's a clip on the spray process:

    I'm not very impressed, but I don't think it's that bad. I would rather more creative though. Back when I used to drive cars I thought it would be cool to chrome certain parts, not all. Like a 80s town car


    with chrome fenders and doors, and the other parts in a more regular finish.

    Maintenance must be a bitch though. I can't imagine that staying nice for very long, especially if using the vinyl wrap.

    One of the main benefits of using the chrome vinyl wrap is price. Waay cheaper than the chemical spray. Plus the vinyl wrap comes in different finishes - from mirror-like to brushed satin.

    I like your idea of older cars that look good in two-tone guise and using chrome as the secondary finish. Btw, I don't think I've ever seen a 1980 Seville without the two-tone option.
