I went on the wayback machine and looked up the old site, it really put in perspective how much I missed the design.

Wow! Thanks for the link v-man.

I took another look at the profile page for Radiocage. It still hurts the way he was hounded out of RJ. The last day he posted I sent him a PM, but he never replied.

Oh yeah, I remember him. He did the drawings of Nick toons and music samples right?

He had some real artistic talent. I still remember the one he did about the wine, and grapes, and all.

That's right and I looked forward to his posts. I had no idea that so many RJers wanted him gone. By the time he decided to leave his video clips were very much improved.

Guys that make their own art usually attract other artists, an asset to any website imho.

makes me wonder if the dude is a fellow member of deviantart.com.

anywho, did anyone else happen to go to one of the pages from the 2005 year? you can really see the website's infancy with the lack of appearance on the forums page

    Yes.

It's like a TV set. The old version works great and it's easy to do whatever you want. The new model has some extra features here and there, but overall is more annoying.

Sometimes I wonder if I'm just a retro-tard, hating anything new. But then I remember, I joined this site less than a year before the new format. If it looked and functioned then like it does now, I would not have stayed. I would not have read dozens of articles, felt compelled to write a couple of my own, look at the videos and quotes, nor post in the forums.

So vkimo, new super mod...any word on updates? Surely we are stuck with the brown. And surely, Vertex would not provide a schedule, in avoidance of the wailing and gnashing of teeth that would result should he not manage to adhere to it to the day. But I wonder, what are the plans, how will this place look and function when it is complete...or is this it?

He might be, only under another name.

Does anyone remember the forums page in 2007, when the animated version of Pac-Man was on there? Older members might remember it.
