The best ad campaign in a long time

    		 We're always talking on here about how commercials today suck, but there are still some that are still creative. I'm talking about the Ragu "Long Day of Childhood" ad campaign

    The first was the one where the kid walks in on his parents doing it. While its a funny commercial it has nothing on some of these.

    		 Those are pretty funny. In a way they remind me of old beer commercials, I think they were going for that effect though.

    Old Spice also has a really funny ad campaign. Jack in The Box commercials were good for awhile too.

    Yep, I got one of those plastic trophies at the Norfolk Naval Air Station golf tournament back in 1971, just like all the other losers.

    Time for me to buy some Ragu.

    		 I think it might be the same guy doing the voice over as those beer commercials vkimo.

    Who ever is directing these commercials must be good with kids. Their facial expressions are perfectly executed.

    I got a participation trophy in a karate tournament eddstarr88. We were broken into teams of 4 and each team competed against one other doing our form. It was a brother and sister, me and my friend. It was up to the judges who did their form the best. The sister got first place, the brother got second, my friend got third and I got fourth. We ALL got a trophy. After the tournament a couple of spectators (who I didn't even know) came up to me and told me I should have gotten better than 4th place. One thing is for sure and that is that fat girl didn't deserve first place. I never went back to the school.

    Even though I'm an adult. I can relate to so many of these commercials.

    		 Ya know bassman, it was my friend that shared his "Boy's Life" magazines with me who discovered that if you twist it the golf club comes right out on my loser trophy. After I lost that little golf club I kept the trophy, my sister called it the Gilligan Award, lol.
