Here's a link to something I never thought I'd see again.

    Boy's Life Cover page...

My best friend from grade school came over to my house back in 1965 to show me the October 1965 issue of Boy's Life magazine. It was the "future" issue with predictions of things to come. Take a peek!

Cool stuff. Now that's something I really like about Google books. They also have every issue of Popular Mechanics and Popular Science, and they're searchable.

And it's all a big surprise to me just finding the links.

I was wondering if I was every going to see that comic strip "Space Conquerors" again. And that article, "1990" - 25 years in the future, wish I could turn back the clock on that story.

The guy that ran over to my house to show me that magazine back in 1965 was the same kid that took me to "Peoples Drug Store" about a year earlier to give me a tutorial on comic books 101, lol!

He was so knowledgeable on writers, artists and narrative that the store owner used to talk shop with him over comic books in general. Peoples Drug Store was bought-out years ago and is now owned by CVS.

The Eldorado is dead. Long live the Eldorado.
