Gory/explicit American comics from the 1970's and before

    		 Sorry, I'm not a very big comic enthusiast. I'm just wondering if there were any comics from the 1970's and before that contained very explicit violence and/or sexual content. Were there any made>?

    		 Do a search for "comix" and "underground comics", there was a lot of sex/nudity stuff in the underground comix in the 70s or so. Also, if you go to the really old stuff, you'll find all kinds of blood & gore. Just look up golden age horror comics.
    You can find all kinds of golden age comics here: http://digitalcomicmuseum.com/index.php Look for the horror ones, and I would imagine that the military ones have some pretty graphic violence.
