I just picked up Kirby and The Amazing Mirror for GBA and having a good time with it. It got me thinking about how most Kirby games are simple and challenging at the same time.

My favorite will always be Kirby Superstar, just playing game brings back such great 16-bit memories. A very close second is Kirby 64. I wish newer Kirby games would use the combine weapons feature from Kirby 64.

Okay, so I'm guessing we can discuss our favorite Kirby games in this thread. Mine is Kirby Superstar.

My favorite would have to be Kirby's Adventure for the NES. Such a fun game and the music rocks as far as the 8-bit era goes.

For me, kirby is comparable to solitaire. It's a pleasant way to pass some time, but not engrossing by any stretch of the imagination. While they have about the same depth & everything as mario bros games, they somehow feel like they have no depth at all. Maybe it's because you can just puff up & fly through most levels, or maybe it's just something with me. *shrug*

I am extremely excited about this. I loved the Mario anniversary collection they put out a while back. I think we in America have to wait until September for it, sadly.

Kirby's dreamland was my shit on original gameboy. I beat that game quite a few times as a kid. I like Kirby as a character but aside from dreamland, other Kirby games never really seem to interest me.
