If you order no mayo but it comes full of it I suggest to throw it away.

this may account for you Jack in the Box issues. That is kinda funny and sad at the same time. My company is doing same thing with our call centre only using Jamaica and Bangladesh.

All our Dairy Queen's around here are painfully slow. Usually we have to call our order in about half an hour before and pick up at the counter. Otherwise you will be sitting in a car line for 30-45 minutes. However, they make all orders fresh so it's par for the course I guess. Now our Taco Tico is just bad managment or extremely lasy employess but I'm thinking both because was stuck in a car line for an hour no joke last week. And hiring the right people too. If the store manager is ghetto so will her employees in most cases. Most of the ones I go to do an excellent job. I live in a pretty nice area and I think that helps. When I go to ones in other parts of the city there is a big difference. The time of day also makes a difference.

It's all about proper training. There are some OUT STANDING fast food places out there (Chik-Fil-A, In N' Out) in terms of customer service. Funny thing is, seems the friendlier and more competent the staff, the better tasting the food is. That goes for same company restaurants too. I know some McDonald's that suck, but some that are great.

I was an assistant general manager at Taco Bell for a few years and we had our ups and downs. Before I quit I moved to another store that was in really bad shape. It took a couple of months, but I was able to get things in order and make the store profitable with the help of some of the shift managers. Our customer secrete shopper score went from the 60s to 95%. The new market manager hired a lesbian woman from Burger King to manage the store rather than promote me to general manager. I'm pretty sure it was a racial thing, but I will not get into that. Anyway she came in and screwed everything up and wouldn't let me make any decisions. She fired everyone so she could move her people from Burger King over. I worked the night shift and she always understaffed me. She kept making all of these promises to me, but I knew she was just using me and would eventually run me off. I quit and left her all alone.

So I know how rough the industry can be. In most cases poor service is the result of poor management. This includes the long line of cars even during off peak periods, rude employees, not having shakes, coffee and other items at certain times. Of course the big one, not getting your order right.

I went to Jack in the Box a couple of weeks ago and the girl in the drive-thru couldn't speak English. She didn't even understand "no sauce". After I said it 10 times they still put it. The Wendy's by my job always puts mayo on my chicken sandwich when I tell them not to. The Dairy Queen over here left me at the speaker for 10 minutes and never came on. When I pulled up there were 3 cars just sitting there. I burned out and went to the other one and got my food in 2 minutes.

Other stores have few problems. The order is always right and their shake machine isn't down half the time.

So if I get poor service at a store I will not go back. I'll give them another shot in a few months if I have to.

No fast-food places have their shit together. The service is either good or terrible, but it doesn't excuse the horrid quality of the food they serve. The only ones I excuse are Pizza Hut, KFC (I don't care who ya are, that's some DAYUMN good chicken), Jack in the Box, Steak and Shake and Chick-fil-a (mostly because of the atmosphere for the last 2).

McDonald's, B.K. (their chicken nuggets are my Achilles heel, though) Wendy's, Hardee's, Arby's, Subway, Carl's Jr. and the rest are the armpit, foot and anus cesspool of food and eating, though. Trust me, once you see how this food is prepared, not only in the animal raising places, but the slaughterhouse and the kitchen in the back itself, and what is in it, you'll never eat there again. Trust me.
