i have all my favourite psx . snes , n64 and sega games on my smartphone (on a 16gb micro-sd).
the emulation is spot on and is really great.

the one i play the most is waverace 64.

all buttons are emulated on the touchscreen.

i have an Android phone btw.

soft modding a wii is pretty easy. took me about 2 hours. all u need is an SD card im pretty sure. then u can get emulators or even just download the virtual console games and put them on.

I bought a retro duo off of ebay a few years back and i find it works great, i have heard people say there are a select few newer nintendo games that it wont play but i have also seen TMNT 3 the manhattan project and Castlevania 3 on those lists of games and i own both of them and they both play fine on my retro duo. I will say tho the controllers for it are fair but not great however you are able to plug actual supernintendo controllers into it which of course work great

So I apologize if this is a stupid topic/question. But I've been itching to play old school games (snes, nes, sega) on something besides my computer. The only console I have right now is an Xbox 360. I don't have xbox live, and would probably fail at mod'ing it. Is there any other way to play retro games on a new console?

I could swear a few years ago my friend had like 300 nes games on a disc, and it worked.

Also, in lieu of finding a way to do this, do you fellow gamers recommend I go on ebay and get an orignal system or try one of those newer ones that cluster all old systems into one?
