Your parents actually took a 5 year old to the theater to see movies like Halloween, Friday the 13th, and Child's Play? Yes! my parents including big brother are huge fans of Sci-fi/fantasy/horror/action and i was introduced to horror when i watched Frankenstein on video when i was 3 and Creepshow as well yet Star Wars was my first Sci-fi movie when i watched the tapes of the trilogy. "House" (1986) was the first horror movie i've ever saw in theaters and i've seen Friday The 13th, Elm Street, Halloween sequels and Child's Play with sequels in theaters as a kid with other horror and R-rated action, R-rated Sci-fi and R-rated comedies in theaters. Aliens was awesome to see on the big screen and i did watched Alien prior to Aliens and thought Alien was creepy but neat when i just turned 4. I thought it was cool seeing Child's Play on the big screen I got into action since i watched First Blood and Rambo II on video but Cobra with Top Gun were the first action films i've ever saw. That's awsome! I wish we would have gone the movies as frequently as you guys did, but since our theater trips were so scarce it made them even more exiting. It was a big deal to go to the movies and we would pay for one and than turn around and watch like three or four movies lol. |
