CanadianWeirdAlFan 1 year 25 days ago Posts: 1306	Haha. I remember the Teddy Ruxpin doll. My favourite ad (maybe the only ad) for it was set in a classroom because it was "show and tell". One boy gets in front of the class with his Teddy Ruxpin doll Boys bored and unimpressed: "Another teddy bear!" The boy activates Teddy Ruxpin: "Hi! My name is Teddy Ruxpin. Can you and I be friends?" Classmates in interest and surprise nodding: "Yeah" So cute. Teddy Ruxpin use to be on in the morning before school. Shows at 7:30 am always seemed to switch off with other shows in rotation.

OldSchool6239 1 year 25 days ago Posts: 464	I never had the bear but my bro for his fourth or fifth birthdy I think he got this VHS tape. I remember always watching it with him. Now I still have it, its an episode were all the characters shrink. I bet "Honey I shunk the kids" had a little bit of influence going on there. Also does anyone recall the news reports about parents leaving there kids at home alone with Teddy Ruxpin LMAO. I collected all his books and stories, i taped that ABC live-action special off TV and i also watched his cartoon all the time every after kindergarten.
