If the Next Xbox and Next PlayStation really DO:

    Lock out used games
Require you stay online if you wanna keep playing

As the rumors have been saying...

...it'll be all the more reason for SEGA to make a new console! One with all the consumer friendliness we want/have been getting from every console thus far (except the PSP Go and the OnLive Microconsole)!

It's not THAAAT big of a deal but killing the used gaming market is not the way to go. And I'm pretty sure Sega will never make another console. I'd love a Dreamcast 2 though.

That'll probably go the way of the Virtual Boy, which means the future next-gen systems (i.e., the PS4 and Xbox 720) might fail in commercial sales!! They'll probably be like the next-gen Atari Jaguar and Philips CDi!

If the PS4/Xbox 720 do see the light of day the way they are both rumored to, I'd be surprised if they even manage to stay in production longer than the Amstrad GX4000, a British console which only lasted TWO MONTHS before facing the axe!

That was about the same lifespan of Tiger's Gizmondo (I'm sure you probably have never heard of it), and all of its initial launch titles were its only releases!
