The FHE logo from the early 90's scared me! That damn synthesizer is so demonic! The DIC logo from the 90's was also scary, though I don't get scared of it much today.

That Nickelodeon bumper in the 90's that had that teeth and eyeballs hanging on a wire and it was singing the Nick theme song in an art gallery thingy. That scared me when I was little. ._. The tune from Unsolved Mysterious also scared the Jebus outta me.

The red Unsolved Mysteries logo that used to zoom into the screen before the segments used to scare me as a child. Also, I also couldn't stand the music from the late '80s-early '90s Lorimar Television logo.

The MGM logo with the lion roaring used to scare the **** out of me as a kid.

I also couldn't watch the intro from Tales from the Dark Side. It still gives me the creeps.

Ok. Basically we got this videos as a kid called "The Cartoon Collection" - a random pack of toons, Pink Panther, Disney, Looney Tunes. Apparently you bought these tapes for charity.

Anyway, I remember both tapes had this weird semi-techno jingle at the beginning, while they were displaying the logos... still scary to this day.

That PBS logo which ran from 1971-1984 almost always made me shit my pants.

    PUBLIC
    BROADCASTING
    SERVICE

It's still with me even 20 years after the fact. So is that damned Children's Television Workshop logo. Damned synthisizers.

The 1980's twilight zone tv series used to have a baby doll head as one of the images at the beginning. That used to scare me! I agree about the tales from the darkside beginning being scary too!

The Control Voice from "The Outer Limits" was pretty scary as a kid.

There is nothing wrong with your television set. Do not attempt to adjust the picture. We are controlling transmission. We will control the horizontal. We will control the vertical. We can change the focus to a soft blur, or sharpen it to crystal clarity. For the next hour sit quietly and we will control all that you see and hear. You are about to participate in a great adventure. You are about to experience the awe and mystery which reaches from the inner mind to ... the outer limits.

I always thought the intro to "Tales from the Darkside" was pretty freaky. The opening sequence was nice and peaceful, but then the music goes evil and dark...I'd always frantically try to change the channel before that happened.

When I was little, there was a trashbag commercial (maybe Glad??) that had this bag attacking an older mom type. I was SO SCARED for my own mom. I didn't want her attacked by a glad bag either!

Bozo the Clown used to scare me.
I used to think when the studio audience was waving to the cameras, that they could see me through the tv and we were waving at me! I used hide under a blanket until they were gone.

Billy Joel's 'Pressure' and Rainbow's 'Stone Cold' videos used to scare me.

There was this song my parents use to listen to alot. I don't recall it's name but it had this part where they guy is in the Land of Oz and the wicked witch yells "I'll get you my pretty! And your little dog
toto too!" and the guy goes "I don't even have a little dog Toto..."

Well I think it's the music they play when he's GOING to Oz it was this weird screatching almost twilight zone type music that scared the HELL outta me. I hated hearing it, and once it came one when I was the only one in the room. I got so scared I ran from the room.
