Meh. Batman has gone through many iterations over the years. I wonder if older people who grew up with the '40s and '50s Batman thought Tim Burton somehow killed their childhood? (probably not, it's mostly just the kids of the '80s and '90s who measure the lives of themselves and others by what's on TV/Bigscreen at the time)

Good point, I didn't mean to be all "back in my day"

I think Batman, along with several other franchises just grew with the times- becoming more mature and complex.

Like when I was young, I thought the Tim Burton films were too dark; but I liked TAS. Now I really dig Burton's vision and am entertained by the Nolan films.

Nonetheless, Beware the Batman looks like a crock of sh*t

Katana is from group the Outsiders. A group which Batman founded and led. And its been established that Alfred was in the British secret service. Now shaddap. You just learned some Batman history.

Seems to me like a good idea. Is the CG that I fear the most.

Brave & the bold is a few years old already (it's a good series though).

I like the fact that this new show plans to delve into lesser used batman foes instead of constantly using penguin, joker, and 2-face. Having a female sidekick isn't anything new. Batgirl has been in the franchise for an eternity, plus robin originally wore green panties, so....

Alfred being a gunslinger will most likely be stupid (unless they make it just a rare instance kind of thing), and the art looks like ass (look at batbutt's head, looks like that horrendous "the batman" series).

I am intrigued by the mention of shorts based on plastic man, batgirl, etc. I wonder what the quality of those will be, and if they'll be shown between DC shows, or IN the shows, or have their own show (like some of the seasons of superfriends), or...?
The live-action interstitials featuring fans & shit sounds absolutely horrible.
