Oh shit, I forgot about Pocahontas! Yeah, that's one of the earliest I remember seeing, too. It came out on my brother's sixth birthday, so we saw it for that.

Beauty and the Beast, 1991, age 4. At the local mall's 8 screen theater. About 5 years ago, the theater closed and was vacant until last year, when it repopened with 13 screens and stadium seating :)

Coincidentally my four year old daughter is seeing her first theater movie today (Madagascar 3).

The first movie I remember seeing in a theater was the theatrical reissue of Walt Disney's "Pinocchio". It was in 1984. 8) I was 5 years old at the time, and I was terrified during the whale part.

It may have been a reissue of 'The Jungle Book', because all I remember to this day is the part about Bageera (sp?) the panther falling in the water and all these kids around me laughing. I knew I wasn't old enough now to see it when it first came out, so now a reissue would explain it.

Another possibilty is seeing 'The Mouse and the Motercycle' in the theater of the library. Not sure which of these came first for me, but I'd say it was 'Jungle Book'.

Do you know what? Surprisingly, my first movie I saw in the actual theaters was Toy Story 2. I saw the countless others I wanted to see over the past years. Now all a joke. *cough* Digital cinema *puke*

    Lion King and Star Trek:Generations

At Star Trek my dad dressed me in a Starfleet uniform and I brought a toy phaser. For a 230 Lb bearded Slayer Fan my dad sure is a dork.

I believe it was an older Disney film that was re-released in theaters. The first one that I really remember seeing was Aladdin, though. I would have been three years old at the time.
