From a note on my Facebook page. It reflects how I feel about the New 52 from DC Comics. Keep in mind, I'm making judgements from a sales point of view. Not a story or actual book point of view. I do all of the ordering at my shop, so I know what's selling and what isn't. Its also part gut feeling.

    --------------------------------------------------

The New 52 comics from DC Comics starts this week with Justice League. What I want to look at, are the other books. The ones that feel 'weaker'. I call them The 6 Issue Club. Now, this is a list of books I feel will be cancelled in short order. It doesn't mean the books will get cancelled at six issues. It can go beyond six. But I always feel that six issues is the best way to gauge how a book will do.

    Here is the list:

    All-Star Western

    Batwing

    Blackhawks

    Captain Atom

    Deathstroke

    Demon Knights

    Frankenstein: Agent of S.H.A.D.E.*

    Grifter

    Hawk and Dove

    I, Vampire*

    Justice League Dark

    Men of War

    Mister Terrific*

    O.M.A.C.

    Resurrection Man

    Suicide Squad

    Voodoo*

Now the list can, and will, change as the books are released. (* denotes almost a guaranteed cancellation.)

Edit: Stumbled across this story - http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/GraphicCity/news/?a=45474 Looks like DiDio has plans for canning a few books.

Now that we're in week 4, how many have you read? I've read nearly all the Bats related titles, JLA and JLI, Action Comics, GL & GLC, but that's about it. I'm sure a few of the titles will be sleeper hits.

I read Action Comics, it was terrible. Then again, I hate Grant Morrison. He's a prick.
Red Hood and the Outsiders was just...bad. The whole sex doll Starfire thing was just wrong.
Green Lantern: New Guardians, I'm on the fence. It was just okay. Its going to take a few issues.
Red Lanterns was a pleasant surprise. Not sure if it can go on as an ongoing, though.
Green Lantern Corps should be good as usual. Its more of a supporting book that will always be around.
The Fury of Firestorm was fun.
Green Lantern was excellent. It picked up where War of Green Lanterns left off and didn't feel like anything was changed.
Resurrection Man is by far my favorite of the lot. Its dark, it has mystery, and the character is unique.

I'm not a big fan of Superman, but I might continue reading AC. I thought Batman was the best of them, hands down.
