Rumor mill is saying John Cena is turning heel and reforming the new NWO with Kevin Nash. Speculation says Shawn Waltman and (a much sober) Scott Hall may be making a WWE reapperance. The last is all hear say but the Cena/Hall partnership is an almost confirm. Epic or Epic fail?

They have been trying to launch Cena as a heel for over a year now and it always backfires. They used NWO to turn the good guy, all american hulk hogan heel would you really not put it past WWE to recycle and reuse to do the same thing for golden boy John Cena? (Reminding everyone how original wwe is and that it is the year of the craptastic remakes lol!) Nwo plays the nostalgia card and gives them a plot device for Cena. WWE wants Cena heel because of the Rock Cena angle. How else is Rock going to beat Cena's candy ass without making the golden boy look like a weiner or Rock look like a bully?

I could have said he did for prepubescent boys Star Wars fans what Twilight did for prepubescent girl vampire fans...made their heros shirtless and sparkly, but that was kinda gay right?

NWO was great because it was unexpected. You never knew what was going to happen each week. Now you know weeks in advance thanks to the internet rumor sites. Hogan becoming heel was a big deal because most people only knew him as a face.

NWO got old because they started letting anyone in. They tried to keep it going way to long.

I love the nWo but make it differnt. Its just a stable, let the 4 horseman, nWo die out. Triple HHH had success with Evolution, he didnt need to redo DX again.

I don't think they should do an exact reboot of NWO but I wouldn't mind some old school flavor. Watching the same 5 stars in rotation of 3 bitching about the title has become totally sucktasic! Bring back the cruiser weight give some incentive for the high fliers and extreme athletes to give a shite about being in the wwe. Also would it kill them to bring back some tag teams, and by tag teams I mean actual teams! Just my thoughts.

Put the belt on a heel, let them keep it for a while. The belt is suppose to stay with one person for a while. Hogan and Flair both carried the belt for a long time. When they lost it, it was a big deal. And they always recaptured it. There was some build up to a title change. Longer story lines that the fans get invested in.

Really? Another one of these "WWE is planning on turning John Cena heel" threads or "John Cena should turn heel"...come on...

Look John Cena turning heel...It AIN'T happening anytime soon. The WWE has invested WAY TOO MUCH into Cena as a face. Not just in terms of selling t-shirts and toys to kids, but they use Cena for charity work and stuff like that, turning him heel right now would do WAY more damage to WWE at the moment.

And comparing Hogan's heel turn to a possible Cena heel turn in "nWo" is absurd, unless we're taking about 15 years in the furture. When Hogan turned heel it was a shocker, but at the same time sort of a fresh start since by that time, people were sick to death of Hogan as a face. Yeah Cena gets booed by selected so called "smarks" who think they know how to do wrestling and what's good for wrestling better than anyone else. But at the end of the day, Cena is still popular with the kids fans, so really why would WWE care what those fans thought? Oh perhaps cause they might lose them...if that was the case those fans should have left by now, maybe some have, but not enough to really hurt WWE.
