What do you all think the significance is of them talking about the two walking dead cops not being bitten and saying they must have been scratched? Do you think they will discover what caused the zombies and this is like setting things up for that?

You know DeliGuy, I thought about that too, then completely forgot. Maybe the security guards were infected by a direct source. I think Rick and Shane dropped the kid off at a Public Works facility that was fenced AND locked off. Not to mention when Shane threw the wrench and broke the window, seemed like maybe the Walkers were being quarantined in there?

Thats what I am wondering as well. I also noticed that they lingered quite a while at that same moment on the burnt corpses. I am wondering if maybe whatever caused the zombie apocalypse is a type of virus that some are immune to and that by burning the bodies of the walkers they are spreading the disease even more than what it was and that maybe the cops caught the disease from burning the corpses of walkers. A lot of different possibilities, but I am 99% sure that Sunday's episode was a very important one in the series.

Another thing I could never wrap my head around was the ways of contracting the virus. Bites and scratches will do it, but what about when they kill a walker with a blunt instrument and get blood ALL over themselves?

I tell ya one thing, if I was there, I'd have long sleeves and riot gear on at all times.

I've had the same issue as well. Thats why i'm wondering if maybe some people can only catch the virus if it goes directly in the blood stream while others were infected through an airborne strain of the virus.

A person does not get infected by the blood been spill all over themselves. Is the saliva in the bite that cause it.

Ok so that presents another issue. Shane placed an open wound on the same spot where a walker had been licking at his blood. Wouldn't that make Shane infected now?

Yes I believe so. He is suppose to get infected since there was a direct contact of bodily fluids. Open wound (blood) and saliva.

OK, I'm pissed. Dale's dead because of that brat Carl. They're STILL on the farm. Next week's episode seems totally predictable. I bet Mezase's Masters Pokemon collection that Shane puts blood on his face and blames it on that kid to get him killed.

How come you never hear or see T-dog? I actually forgot he was there until I seen him in the background of their little mock trial in last nights episode.

How about Hershel's one son? I swear the number of Hershel's family seems to fluctuate with each episode.

I enjoyed the episode. I see Dale's death as a possible turning point for daryl.
