    		 I hate these damn lockouts. NBA has a lockout right now too but I'm much more concerned with the NFL because a year without the super bowl would be a tragedy. what are Your guy's thoughts on all this bullshit?

    		 I feel the players, because they're risking their bodies and the owners are getting rich off of them. I don't really watch the NFL, but thats how I feel.

    		 They need better retirement plans. A HOF player from the late 60's is getting $150 a month to live off of. Thats rediculous, since they cant get insurance.
    Plus if they want to make it an 18-game season, yes they do deserve more money its 2 more games a year to risk injury.

    If the owners are losing as much money as they say they are, why wont they show the NFLPA its finance reports?

    		 No way are they gonna let the players tamper with the Super Bowl. Considering how bad the reactions were to the cancellation of the World Series in '94, and the amount of revenue they lost from it, it definitely wouldn't be worth it for something much more popular that brings in much more money.

    		 The NFL is the most greedy sports organization in the USA. Remember them giving exclusive gaming rights to EA Sports which prevented any other company from making games? Also for years they have given DirecTV exclusive rights to carry the NFL Sunday Ticket. BTW they block out of market games so you are forced to get the package. Fuck the NFL!

    WTF? I thought that was the whole point of the package.
    You're right I just looked it up. If an in market game isn't sold out, you can't watch it on the Sunday Ticket either so you will go to the games. With baseball you can watch in market games on regional sports channels like Fox Sports if they are not sold out. The MLB Extra Innings is on several providers though Dish Network lost it due to contract disputs. With the Sunday Ticket you have to get DirecTV so they can charge what ever they want for the package.
