    A lot of people in Houston are pissed about this. All mission controls and training take place here. Houston is no doubt a major backbone of NASA and has been for many years. To choose Virginia and New York over us is total bull shit. New York has NOTHING to do with NASA.

    I think it comes down to the fact that Houston is seen as the red headed step child of major cities. It reside in a conservative state and doesn't have the zoning laws that most cities have.

    Houston isn't a pretty city, but business is good here. Also we are one of the most diverse cities in the country.
