Wow
When I rode a motorcycle in the 90s, helmets were required by law. They changed the law a few years after I stopped riding. The argument for not wearing them is they restrict your side vision. What's dumb about that logic is there are helmets that have little if any effect on it. Hemets do save lives by about 35%.
I see motorcyclist not wearing a helmet, wearing a short sleeve shirt, shorts and flip flops. Proper safety attire is a long sleeve shirt or better yet a jacket, gloves, thick pants like jeans and high top shoes or boots. Being it is so hot in Texas I can understand losing the jacket and gloves are not that important, but the others is just stupid. Better to be hot than having a leg with gravel embedded in it or losing all of your skin.
