LOL! One of my funniest Christmas season memories involve shoplifting and Wal-Mart. My family and I had just walked in to do a little Christmas shopping and we are only a few feet into the building and we see this guy (a shoplifter) sprinting for the door only to have another customer tackle him which turned into a fist fight. Well the customer was there with some friends who decided to step in and help him get the guy down, but confusion came about when some of walmarts employees tried to jump in as well and wound up being a fist fight between the (good) customer's buddies and walmarts staff b/c they mistook the staff's intentions and thought they were trying to help the shoplifter! It was a pretty good brawl and 2 of the main things I remember is the wimpy walmart manager getting beat on pretty good screaming "I'm the manager!!!! Don't hit me I'M THE MANAGER!!!" and then a lady telling her husband who was this huge muscular black guy to help them out and he looked at them and then back at her and said "Woman I ain't gettin' in this they're crazy!" LOL!!! Ahhh gotta love the holidays at your local walmart!
He was smart. Then look what happened to the "good samaritans" they get beat up by Walmart employess? Some of you act like Walmart is going to give you a medal and a job for being brave. They are more likely to sue your ass.

Just some advice be careful what you watch because all those hero movies gives you a false sense of invincibility. In the real world they use real bullets and you shed real blood.

Comedy is not your strong suit. Odds are, you will be the one getting banned. You're coming on here, acting like the troll you were born to be. You're talking shit, insulting everyone, and thinking YOU'RE the innocent one. Right. And I'll 'mess with you' all I want. Why? I'm better than you. You'll see when you've been banned. And then you can cry all you want. I'm guessing your genetic line is filled with cowards and morons.

What the hell do superhero movies have to do with anything? You have to be influenced by them to uphold the law?

And look at the outcome, she IS being praised by the media, as well as everybody else here. She's getting the exact treatment you said she wouldn't. And what's this city/suburb shit? It seems more like the difference between bravery and fear, to me. Yes, cops get paid to do this stuff, but that's because it's supposed to get done - and when there are no cops around, why shouldn't someone else be able to stand up and take action? You think law enforcement is just some mundane white-collar job and not a vital part of society, to the point that nobody except cops should be concerned with who's abiding by the rules? You should move to Russia where the cops are all fucking corrupt, that way you'll be surrounded by other people who don't give two shits about law enforcement in the first place.

I absolutely hate this mentality of "not my business" or "let somebody else take care of it" when it comes to these kinds of things. I don't give a fuck whether it's a large corporation or a small business, a crime is a crime is a crime. The world would be a better place if there were more people who would stand up and prevent crime or help others to the best of their abilities, and not people would just stand there with their thumbs up their asses thinking "Not my problem, let security handle" it.

I'll just move this topic to real world since apparently that's where the discussion is headed.

You know in the old days that's how it was. Communities formed their own police and they helped each other out. Big government and lawsuits changed all of that. Like I said I'm divided on this one.

People in small Texas towns are still like this though.
