    		 Leno has the audience because of it being the Tonight Show. Letterman has always been funnier, especially in his early 90's prime.

    		 They're both way, way past their prime, but Letterman was better then and is still better now. One of the most under-rated parts of these late night talk shows are the guest interviews, and this is where Leno has always failed. Letterman's interviews are 100x better.
