Out these two Horror film series which do you like better? Friday the 13th or Nightmare on elm street?

Mine would be Friday the 13th just like the films overall a lot better even though I like the character Freddy Krueger better than Jason

I like them both equally. But if i have to choose one, then i pick Nightmare on Elm Street.

Freddy Krueger is still a horror movie god.

Freddy was definitely way cooler than Jason but F13th just had a better feel the idea of a killer in the back woods seemed more real to me

Yeah, I wouldn't want to spend a night at Camp Crystal Lake, knowing there's a killer out there.

For story quality, I'd have to go with Elm St.

For sheer creepiness factor, it's Friday The 13th all the way....personally, I found little at the time that was spookier than a gargantuan, homicidal mute in & a hockey mask using virtually anything at his disposal to do you in.

Oh, and there was always the added bonus of the creepier soundtrack.....CH, CH, ch, ch......KA, KA, ka, ka....

I have to go with F13 for the cuttin' n slashing. For the pervy-comic-slasher then Elm Street.

...depends on the mood I guess.

I'd probably have to go with Freddy, but that's only because I've only seen the first "Nightmare On Elm Street" and its' remake. I haven't seen any of the "Friday The 13th" movies. Truthfully, I get more shocked at slashings in real life than I do when watching movies.
