Dumbasses who refuse to go the posted speed limit

If there is a post for a 55MPH zone on a state road, street, avenue whatever, PLEASE GO THE DAMN SPEED! I've had enough of trying to risk my life to pass your slow ass. If you don't go the speed limit I will ride on you until your ass is sore from chaffing. That's just my rant and opinion. Do ya'll feel the same way??

Mezase Master 2 years 2 months ago Posts: 9096	I would prefer it if others went whatever speed they're comfortable with, actually. Slow and annoying is much better than fast and dangerous. Although personally, I like to go as fast as I can.

bassman21 2 years 2 months ago Posts: 12790	Yes I do agree. People that go under the limit should be ticketed. Around here the closer you get to downtown the slower people drive. They love riding in the fast lane and riding side by side so no one can pass. When you get behind them they will not move over either.

Only cars that go faster than 40 mph can use it, and the speeds are usually between 80mph-140mph depending on where you are. It's also much safer than motorways in other countries.

mysticwryter 2 years 1 month ago Posts: 2850	I would rather go with the flow of traffic but it's always that one person who's going 45 mph or 50 mph in a left lane, hogging traffic, not using any type of turn signal and flips you off for going by them....WTF! Your the one that's being the dumb-ass going slower. People have to slam on their breaks, hoping that you will stop in time for the slow dumb-ass at the wheel..I'm sorry Benjamine, but where I live, no one follows anything; no turn signals; not going the posted speed limit; staying in the left lane on interstates; talking/texting on their phones rather than driving. You may not be that way but still it gets on my nerves quite a lot and I have to use the interstate to get to work.

The thing is I understand if you are not familiar with a place, but if you live in the same county for the longest time and have traveled up the same road/highway/interstate for a very fucking long time, then you should know how fast to go. Reason being one road is like this where I live is because a casino was just built a few years ago and people think that the speed limit changed as well.

WinegumZero 2 years 1 month ago Posts: 1862	I'm a pretty slow driver but that's because I drive an old Volkswagen. I do make a habit of sticking to the right lanes though, as I know how annoying slow drivers can be.

However I do hate it when someone is moving slow in a car that's technologically faster than mine; I remember this one time I encountered such a person and that same stupid asshole overtook moments later like as if he was toying with me.

With my job I drive from service call to call so I put a lot of miles down in a day and the big problem for me is the ones that pass you when you are doing 2-3 miles over the speed limit then look at you like you are doing something wrong, when shit like this happens I will think something to the effect of "wow, the limit is 60, I am doing 65 keeping up with the traffic, you pass me then look at me like an asshole and I am doing something wrong".. Must be that most are illiterate and cannot actually read the posted limit signs.. Yeah, that must be it...
