It appears the owner went to the store and left the children alone. Something she had cooking on the stove caught fire. I wonder why she didn't try and put the fire out as well as get the kids out. When a home catches fire every second counts. Also how could she leave those children alone?

I wouldn't send my kids off to an in-home daycare. Yeah you might know the person running it but that doesn't mean you know the people they associate with and their neighbors too. Plus, house fires are way more common than ones at a regular center.

She's a 22 year old Black girl. I would never send my kid to an in home daycare either. They are exempt for some of the saftey rules and for all you know the husband could be molesting them. I have seen how some are ran. The kids were running around outside in the street in their bare feet and when inside all the did was watch TV. The kids were being watched by the owners kids instead of an adult. This would never be allowed at a regular daycare center.
This woman should also be charged with false advertising. "Our curriculum is one of the best in town, its Montessori style" lol Yea right. It look like she is the only person running it. Who is "our"? I bet this woman doesn't even have her diploma.

She'll likely get charged with negligence. You can't just abandon kids like that when you're running a day-care. They must be watched at all times, and she failed to do that.
