Good grief! A Simpsons Butterfinger commercial from one year before the full-series started!

I remember this one well. This was back in their Tracey Ullman Show days. No one ever thought they would have their own show for over a 20 year run.

Wait, wait, wait! You mean to tell me that Bart Simpson was promoting Butterfinger around this time?!

Yes! This is also around the time when the Simpsons shirts became popular in schools. The privae school I went to banned them even when they started allowing t-shirts.

There's also one from that year where Bart teases Lisa about having the last Butterfinger in the house.

And yeah, I didn't know the Simpsons characters started appearing in these Butterfinger commercials until recently. I wonder if any of the pre-show Butterfinger commercials are included on any of the DVDs.

"There is no Butterfinger group."
I remembered that Simpsons Butterfinger BBs ad, but I got a big kick out of this vintage Simpsons Butterfinger ad when I seen this.

Blueluigi, you mean this ad? It not only was the second Simpsons Butterfinger commercial ever created, it was also the first ad of that nature to use the tagline "Nobody ever lay a finger on my Butterfinger!",
