So anyway I was watching the last episode of Robot Chicken on Adult Swim tilled "Kramer vs Showgirls" and I noticed a good amount of famous (or pretty well known) cartoon characters that got killed in the episode, the last included Buzz Lightyear (Toy Story), Garfield (Jim Davis Garfield), Launchpad McQuake (Ducktales/Darkwing Duck) and Darkwing Duck (Darkwing Duck). And I was thinking to myself, it would be fun to make a list of famous cartoon/fictional characters who was killed off in Robot Chicken, here's my list so far (I'll try to included how they were killed and what episode of RC as well)

Santa Claus- Probably been killed off a few times in Robot Chicken but I'm talking about from season one in the episode "Nightmare Generator" where he was murdered.

Animal from the Muppet Show- Was "put down" after an on air attack of Ed McMahon in the episode "Plastic Buffet."

Fred Flintstone from the Flintstones- After fighting over a box of "Fruity Pepples," Fred was killed by best friend Barney Rubble in the episode "Easter Basket."

Barney Rubble from the Flintstones-Barney was hanged after killing best friend Fred Flintstone in the episode "Easter Basket."

Big Bird from Sesame Street-Was sick with the Bird Flu in the Episode "Book of Corinne."

Snarf from Thurdercats- Was killed by mistake by Lion-O than stuffed in the epiosde "Endless Breadsticks."

Venus De Milo (the gril Turtle) from Teenage Muntant Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation- Killed herself after being kicked out of TMNT in the episode "Moesha Poppins."

Gobo, Wembley, Mokey, Red and Boober Fraggle from Fraggle Rock-Things just sadly didn't work out for the Fraggles after being having to leave their original home in the episode "Monstourage."

Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story- Woody was force to kill Buzz after Andy turned him into a bong and making Buzz "messed up" in the episode "Kramer vs Showgirls."

Garfield from Jim Davis' Garfield-After finding out Garfield has type 2 diabetes, owner Jon refused to pay the 2200 in fees to keep Garfield alive, so he was put down.

Lauchpad McQuake from Disney's Ducktales/Darkwing Duck-Was killed in a mishap with a jet.

Darkwing Duck from Disney's Darkwing Duck-When daugther Gosalyn needed a kidney transplant, Darkwing donated his body to a chinese resturant where he was cooked alive.

    All too common.

Snoopy and Sally Brown were killed in the Robot Chicken Half-Assed Christmas Special.
Garfield: "My car is so old, that it's insured against theft, flood, fire and dinosaur stampedes!"

Garfield: "The local bus transit is doing their part to help with the weight loss program: each year, they stop further and further away from the curb!

Does anyone remember the name of the episode in which Scooter from the Gobots gets his face ripped off?

The entire cast and crew of Robot Chicken were killed when Matthew Sienrich went on a shooting rampage in the episode Book of Corrine.

I just remember Wadio from "Where's Waldo" was killed in both the episodes "Kramer vs Showgirls" and the last one.

I can't believe that nobody mentioned that Optimus Prime from the Transformers died of prostate cancer in the episode Junk in the Trunk.

I actually did think of that one, but since after that skit was done, Optimus Prime did talk again mention that "everyone should check their prostate" I figure he didn't really die so it didn't really count. Least that's how I look at it,

I never did like "Robot Chicken". And I think this here is one of the main reasons. I think it's just stupid how they think the only way to parody famous characters is by killing them. Plus, I hate seeing some of the charcters who I grew up with (Mario, Garfield, Scooby Doo, Darkwing Duck) being killed. The show can make me laugh sometimes, but for the most part I think it's too mean-spirited.

If you don't like Robot Chicken then why are you in a thread that's about it?:roll::roll:

Actually, I disagree with him on every point. Add in the fact, I'm friends with one of the people who supplies the action figures.

Come on... I know sarcasm doesn't always translate to text so well but that was painfully obvious.

I just don't like when they go over the top with swearing. When is adding to dialog its alright, but excessive swearing like you just learned a bad word is boring and not worth watching.

Well, I just thought I might as well tell people I don't like it. I mean you can't look at a thread about a show and not at least see one negative comment about it. And besides, I don't completely hate "Robot Chicken". I said it makes me laugh sometimes. I kind of like / hate "Robot Chicken", but I hate it a little more than I like it.

Mario & Luigi were wasted in "Lust For Puppets" after their trip to Vice City. Optimus Prime died of prostate cancer in "Junk In The Trunk" but it was a dramatization by the Autobots. He-Man, Skeletor and Beast Man were killed by Faker in "I'm Trapped" after infiltrating King Randor's birthday party. Junkyard died from eating a chocolate statue dedicated to Roadblock in "The Ramblings Of Maurice". Scooter killed Gonzo and Fozzie in "Schindler's Bucket List" to avenge his twin sister Skeeter's death, only for Camilla to shoot an arrow through Scooter's head. PaRappa was gunned down by MC King Kong Mushi in "Help Me" after testifying in court. Robot Chicken ruins memories *sigh*
