Mom JAILED over sending her kids to a better school WTF...

    So here we have a woman, who was just trying to get her kids into a better school, and got BUSTED for doing so :x

    there were over 100 families investigated. of these, three agreed to pay the tuition, and the rest either REALLY were part of the district or was found guilty. She was the only one that fought.

    The sad parts:

    1. See, this is why there needs to be more choices for public schooling in general
    and 2. Ironically, this woman is trying to be a teacher. She's 12 credit hours away, and this little act, despite the lack of bloodshed or inflicted injuries or whatever, is considered a felony and has put her current aide job and her future teaching job in jeopardy... UGH... in an economy strapped for jobs, why OH WHY must we discriminate against these people?! UGH!!! :evil::evil::evil:

    		 This is a big problem in the school district I live in. My district is one of the top in the state and many parents want to send their kids to the schools here over the neighboring ones. I don't know of any criminal charges, but they bust people for it all the time.

    I have known several people that have done this to keep their kids safe. Our next door neighbor in my old hood did it because her son was getting bullied by a group of kids. After he changed schools there was no problem. By high school he went back to the school he was supposed to go to.

    I don't blame this lady for doing this. Her dad is paying taxes and has no children going to school. In the end if the school didn't investigate no one would know and they would still get paid. It sounds to me like they are trying to keep the black folks out. Hopefully this doesn't hurt her becoming a teacher.
