The movie is somewhat better, if you figure it was all in Seth Rogan's mind.

If I'm honest, I got bored and zoned out, it could well have the greatest ending ever. I actually prefered Paul Blart mall cop, mainly cos of the ginger girl from glee, who I would love to tap

Ah yes, the ginger who was also in Heroes. The movie did have a part I loved at the end. Rogan and Liotta going at it to the fight music from Flash Gordon.

Well in 2005 there was a movie with Colin Ferell called the New World (about John Smith and Pocahontas) it ended up being an artsy poetry nature film...and boy it knocked me out.

Syriana and The Good Shephered, both movies about the CIA were boring as hell.

Then there was that Michael Keaton horror movie White Noise, I think we left that one. Same with Johnny Depp's The Libertine. The Bicentennial Man and What Dreams May Come were tiresome to watch, along with A.I.

However the worst was Kingdom of Heaven. I went to the theatre with a group of friends (about 8 or 9 of us) and we all fell asleep for the majority of the movie except for one guy who braved the entire thing. I remember dozing off by the time they ended up in the desert, woke up to see a guy get his head cut off, went back to sleep and woke up dazed during credits. bleh

    Good shout, nothing happens!!

Everything happens! It is the most intelligent, ground breaking and artistic Science Fiction film ever made.

    And Citizen Kane? Really people?

I guess I should expect anyone who grew up in the youtube generation has no respect for proper cinema.

Whatever that Hugh Jackman movie was...something to do with him hanging out under a tree. Think he was time traveling or something. That movie was so boring, I can't remember a thing about it.

@CleverHans : You're thinking of The Fountain. I can understand why people might find it boring, but I think it's fantastic.

I don't go into forums just to bash on people. Who am I to tell someone their opinion stinks? Just a little more respectful criticism than "it's boring".

As much as I hate to say it, (because after several repeated viewings, the film actually grew on me like a fungus.....like Pulp Fiction).

If I had to submit a serious contender for most boring film of all time, it would have to be David Lynch's supreme master work of fubars....his 1984 screen adaptation of Frank Herbert's critically acclaimed, science-fiction epic "DUNE".

The only reason I like it now is because after numerous self-induced, repeated viewings....(I guess I kept forcing myself to watch it because I kept thinking I missed something as I couldn't understand how a film that cost so much to make could possibly be so bad) I can finally appreciate the film for it's "so bad it's good" cult classic characteristics.

The main reason I list it here even though I like it now is because there was a time when I ABSOLUTELY HATED IT and am quite certain that I have yet to see anything as boring since....(no, not even The Phantom Menace or any of the other SW prequels).

David Lynch has succeeded where other film directors have failed, he has made the ABSOLUTE WORST SCREEN ADAPTATION OF A BEST SELLING NOVEL....EVER.

No, not even the worst screen adaptation of a Stephen King novel comes anywhere even remotely close to the 3+ hour bucket of shit that is 1984's DUNE.

Mr. Lynch, I tip my hat to you Sir; you've definitely made a film fully-worthy of the Alan Smithee directing credit.
