    		 The music industry had gone Mariah Carey crazy after the release of "Vision of Love". It was as if every singer had to out do Mariah and her melismian vocals. And right into the middle of all this over-the-top singing contest came a voice that was clear and beautiful in it's simplicity reminding everyone that sometimes less is more.

    It pains me to say it but the early 90's was the last time that I heard a latenight DJ from a local radio station really pushed his audience to give a song a chance. "Instead of judging somone for what you've heard maybe it was time to show kindness and really listen!"
    Maybe that's why this song means so much to me.

    Or maybe it's something else?
