A liberal non-believer wants any mention of God and religion silenced. (Unless it's a foreign religion, of course!) If a conservative decides he needs health care, he goes about shopping for it, or may choose a job that provides it. A liberal demands that the rest of us pay for his. If a conservative slips and falls in a store, he gets up, laughs and is embarrassed. If a liberal slips and falls, he grabs his neck, moans like he's in labor and then sues. If a conservative reads this, he'll bump the thread so other people can have a good laugh. A liberal will sage this thread because he's "offended".

Liberals are also for a nanny-state, where the government basically babysits everyone. Good example is how the liberals are trying to ban certain types of food and drinks in an effort to get the population to slim down. Rather than just let people eat and drink what they want, the liberals feel like it's their job to remove the "temptations" so people will have to eat healthier.

That's like the dumbest thing you can do, I don't think Hitler's mass genocide should have anything to do with his decision of banning meat based on personal beliefs. Unless you were using him as an actual example of why it's right, although if you say Hitler did anything that usually means you're not, hence your next argument (which isn't any more valid, a country needs to be strong if threatened). Also, enough with this "lol homosexual conservative" stuff. Are you people seriously narrow-minded enough to think that every homosexual is going to be entirely liberal? There are plenty of conservatives for gay rights and just as many liberals against it, you can't judge the entire community on the majority opinion. The thing is, PirateNinja, races aren't discriminated against much anymore (I know somebody's gonna quote me on this and just say "lol" without providing any evidence against it just because of what they see on Family Guy), and for the few cases where such a thing happens, that's when you go to court - I think the point of that statement was that a "liberal" would see themselves as "victims" and demand compensation despite nothing being wrong. For the record, I don't see these attributes strictly applying to liberals as the post suggests (and certainly not all liberals), but I do agree that a lot of people these days seem to think this way and it's not right.

They are going bankrupt with all of their government entitlements. Obviously conservatives and liberals are both criticized for different things. There isn't a universally bad side, you know. But I don't really like the idea of categorizing the two in the first place when people can be as mixed and as fickle as they want to be.

I haven't been to that thread in awhile. If it makes you happy, I'll reply. Greece and France are capitalist. There is a huge difference between socialism and having a nanny state. Greece and France are owned by the same class. Simply saying "socialism doesn't work" doesn't scare me. Look around you. The capitalist world is failing, and to look at the very few countries who attempt to reform capitalism and put a smiley face on it and say "socialism doesn't work" doesn't work for me. As the Bible says, "Don't point out the speck in your neighbor's eye, when there is a plank in your own." So, when people were given the right of freedom of speech people just stopped working? If you don't give people rights, people won't work. People especially won't work if healthcare isn't a right.
