As a matter of fact, I could sense questions from some of the membership as to why I keep coming back to these song threads. It's the qualifier "greatest" or "best" for music in a givien decade that keeps gettin' to me, especially since everyone here seems to be avoiding the "big name music superstars" that usually dominate threads like these. For example, a guy named Elton has yet to make an appearence in the 70's thread, and I'm not seeing "Like a Virgin" or "Papa Don't Preach" popping up here on the 80's thread. And my thanks to all of you here on RJ for that! I, for one, am astounded by the range of music on this site. From near opera to Metallica's Black Album, retrojunkers have this music thang very well covered. (ok Slayer fans, don't make me come after ya) |

I'm not sure as to the reasons behind it, but this has to be one of the great songs of the 80's. It sure got my attention when I first heard it!
