    That's an excellent song. Talking of Genesis, here's a track from Peter Gabriel's 1980 masterpiece Peter Gabriel III;

    Ready for something - different?

    The 80's had a nice mix of the surreal as well as the cool.

    My case in point;

    Taco - "Puttin' on the Ritz" - 1983:

    Grab your walking sticks...

    and remember, Good Night L.A. is really COOL!

    I'm with you NARH, the soundtrack for Inspector Gadget adds just the right touch to any 80's list of music.

    So now are you ready for Carl Carlton? Here's his biggest hit ever:

    She's A Bad Mama Jama - 1981...

    Heathcliff's theme from the 80's animated series was a throwback to the 1950's doo-wop style, (think Happy Days or the group Sha Na Na), and as such it was one of the most distinctive themes on Saturday mornings. It captured the "back street" quality of Heathcliff, in stark contrast to Garfield's "pampered kitty" persona.

    Now I'd like to shake it up with a song that goes waay back to the start of the decade. It's a helluva great tune and this shorten version video is an example of how to do a music video. Great Job by The Brothers Johnson!

    STOMP! - 1980...
