Duran Duran never released this song from their 1986 album Notorious, which is a shame because it's one of their best. Listen to it and you'll agree:

Duran Duran is also on my list but "Proposition" is waay better than my old favorite "The Reflex". Now I'm adding "Proposition" to my favorites, and I have to thank you for linking me to another song from Heart.

I'm adding to my playlist a lot lately, lol!

Funny cause I just watch a few hours ago the controvercy over this song in the 80's with Dee Snider going to court as if out of the music video itself. Big hair/denim vest/acid-washed pants In front of Tipper Gore. He didn't take it anymore I guess.

When Dee Snyder dressed like a woman in the video, I thought he was doing it for comedy. I didn't think he was...you know...

    OMG!

jrs1991 beat me to "Driving My Life Away", my favorite road song of the decade! :D

Well you know what that means, now I have to link to my favorite Stevie Nicks tume from the 80's, "Stand Back". This is a fan video made by kimshere2. She's combined the original video with clips from Stevie's appearance on Saturday Night Live, plus a little cameo of herself to boot. Overall, an awesome video production:

I also updated my page 19 entry on the early 80's Yes lineup that featured the Buggles to include the two music videos off 1980's Drama and a couple of songs off the Buggles' final album from 1981 that included songs intended for an abandoned '81 Yes album.

Here's another Outstanding 80's tune, a favorite of mine and my #1 dude Caps! :D

A late night standard from the early 80's, it wasn't until Caps talked about the song that I found out for sure that there was more than one version being aired at the same time. Honestly, I thought there was something going on with my car's stereo back in the day.

Good thing the youtube clip with both versions is still up and running. I'm kinda leaning more toward the UK version:

Say no more my good friend, "Photograph" was on my to-do list.
This is one helluva great song:

And while I'm back in 1983, here's a song I credit to my crazy neighbor back at my old digs. All summer long he and his friends would be outside with beer and BBQ, listening to this old tune. It wasn't a favorite of mine at first but later on I guess the song just got to me.

Now I count it as one of my favorite 80's tunes.
