    Bump.

"Outliners" (Picture Below) - Large Version

Also, a picture I did as part of a Media Studies presentation.

Anyone else thinking of a certain cartoon by Tex Avery right about now?

It was "King-Size Canary", if anyone's interested.

And why aren't more people looking at my art? It's... very depressing.

Whew, getting to all these is taking a while. That Easter one made me laugh, too true.

Don't get discouraged if there aren't many comments. People still look at them. You've got talent for character expression. You should check out this guy, Ed Skudder, he's a really good character animator and has a style similar to what you seem to use.

I'm jealous of this guy's animating skills, and he's my age too. :? I need more practice...

    ...

Anyway. What do you get when you add pencilling and random splats of photoshop paints?

    This.

I respect your art but the Jesus parody is just being a arsehole.

To quote the description accompanying the picture on Retrogade:

"Once again, the idea of contrast was messed with - "What should we do with the Easter Bunny / early in the evening..." - and eventually I decided that a large black-ish rabbit with an egg-firing launcher would be best.

It's as much a salute to Bazooka Ninja as it is a wave to Easter, and the true meaning of the holidays. Namely, Jesus dying for us and coming back to life, because he's frickin' A like that.

Something a lot of people have forgotten in the hunt for chocolate eggs. Happy Early Easter, guys."

Note, therefore, that the only thing being parodied is the ignorant teen who has no idea of what Easter really means.

    Cheers, guy.

Some stuff I dug up. Did this throughout the week. And a bit.

First, a middle-aged businessman guy playing arcade games. Wotcher.

Also, a hand. Don Bluth must be spinning in his... well, he isn't dead yet so...

The true story of Steven M.

The true story of someone unrelated to Steven M.

    Some stereotypical French person.

Now this... is either a tap, or a new nose job gone horribly wrong. Go figure.

No... maybe it really is a tap. Of sorts. So what happens if we twist the bitsies?

I'm guessing this happens. John K (Ren & Stimpy dude) will probably hate me for this.

And the ultimate in pundouchery... Staircase Face.

You can't(/can) make this up, really. Also, more juvenile cartoon metaphor humour.

"Chocolate Ice Cream & Mint Sauce" - refers to testicles and nostril seepage from previous pictures.

"This, with the ice cream, representing phallic equipment" - the cone and the ice cream, aka the meat and two veg

"Cue the the sound of creaking cogs as his eyes open" - a bit like opening your eyes in a shower

Basically I'm trying to work on a character and scenario that I can theoretically send off to John K (Ren & Stimpy guy) and see what he thinks of it. Since he's working on Adult Party Cartoon now, and stuff.

I saw that guy on a vid on youtube where Howard stern brought him in to talk with Billy West. He felt betrayed by Billy over the whole Ren and Stempy incident. It was pretty tense.

How old is John K anyway?
He looked young in the vid, but his hair was grey
