Joe Simon - "Drowning In The Sea Of Love" - 1972:

    Joe Simon...

When you think "classic Rock", think the Netherlands cuz back in the 70's this guy hit like a true force of nature. Music and art in equal measure,
Herman Brood burned bright, lived fast and died young.

    And left his mark.

    Herman Brood - Saturday Night - 1979:

Samples of his artwork and music...

The Eldorado is dead. Long live the Eldorado.

    This is so fantastic.
Real "put the top down" convertible music. Great post TRI.

Now I have a link to Soulsville 1972 and I wonder if anyone has heard this before?

Take a listen now, cuz I'm not sure how long YouTube will leave this up:

Issac Hayes is in the house...

The Eldorado is dead. Long live the Eldorado.

When I was younger, and when my dad used to drive me to school, we used to listen to a lot of 70's rock on the classic rock station, so I'm glad he introduced me to it.
