One Louder 2 years 9 months ago Posts: 842 Account Disabled	White Rabbit was from 1967 and Jefferson Airplane disbanded in 1972. They quickly reformed as Jefferson Starship but Jefferson Airplane members Jack Cassidy (Bass) and Jorma Kaukonen had left by that point and formed Hot Tuna. Jefferson Starship did have a few big hits in the 70's, Ride the Tiger, Miracles, Fast Buck Freddie, With Your Love, Count On Me and Jane. Most of these are collected together on the greatest hits album Jefferson Starship Gold.

One thing for sure, when this song hit in 1975 it stayed in Billboard's #1 spot for weeks because nothing else sounded quite like it at the time. Thank you for finding one of my favorite ELO songs. Showdown stands out as unique, even among ELO's brand of music. Love the way the strong strings stand out and set the mood right from the opening.
