Tiny toons, animaniacs, you name it.

The only trouble is the only U.S. animation studio they used was Startoons.

However some of their outsourced episodes looked great, especially Tokyo Movie Shinsha's.

I was just reading about tiny toons on wikepedia. I hear that the method of animating tiny toons was different than what they used back in the day. It had a higher cell count than most shows back in the day.

Tiny Toons and Animaniacs remain favorites to me since they kept the old charm of Warner Bros. Cartoons!

I'd have to agree with you on them keeping the charm of the older cartoons.Wish they would have done some more of those shows.

^ i think Tiny Toons, Animaniacs, and Freakazoid! were enough. All 3 are memorable, so another would have been a bit redundant.

    ask Hanna-Barbera

I have friends who worked at Startoons. Hell, I was at the studio a few times before it closed. It was right by the first comic shop I worked at.

Wasn't Pinky and the brain also a Spielberg cartoon? Loved that show.

"What are we gonna do today Brain?"
"Same thing we do every day, try to take over the world."

The WB Speilberg cartoons were some of the best cartoon shows of all time. Pinky and the Brain; Freakazoid; and Animaniacs especially. Tiny Toon Adventures wasn't bad, but I didn't love it as much as some people did.

Out of all of those, the one I can still watch over and over is Animaniacs. I loved Tiny Toons, but can't really go back to it like I can with Animaniacs.

As for Freakazoid, it was okay, but I never did get to watch that series much, and the same went for Pinky & the Brain.

Actionbastard- Pinky & the brain was a spinoff of animaniacs, so... yeah....

I loved tiny toons. I liked animaniacs overall, but wished they would have spent more time on the warner sibs & omitted some of the lame segments like buttons & mindy, rita & runt, goodfeathers, etc.
Pinky & the brain was fun as the short segments in animaniacs, but I didn't like it as a stand-alone series. It just wasn't good enough IMO to watch an entire 30mins worth in a single sitting.
I never liked freakazoid for some reason.

I really wish they finish Tiny Toons and Animaniacs on dvd. Though, I could do without the Goodfeathers segments. Didn't like them when the show was on tv, and fast forward them on dvd.
Don't pay any attention to the evil spirited and dead of heart. They're not worth your time.
