Drive-In Intermission Film

    I've never been to a drive-in movie before, but I'd give my right arm to go to one. I especially love these old intermission films. This one I believe dates back to the late '50s/early '60s.

    I love watching those. We had some here until the last one closed in 1992 when the owner turned the property into a shopping center devolopment.

    The last movie we saw at the I-45 theater was "The Beleivers" in 1987. They didn't have the speakers, instead you tuned your car radio to an FM radio station. Too hot and too many mosquito in the summer here for them. Like the link says there are two outside the city and the one isn't far from where my parents live.

    The Link say that one was built in 1982, but I remember going to see Amityville Horror at age 3 in 1979. Maybe it was one of the other ones.
