Pinnochio and Dumbo

minimaster58 2 years 11 months ago Posts: 1363	Anyone noticed how similar these two movies are? -The main characters are introduced after some less important character. -There is a parental figure wanting a child and gettin one close to the beggining of the film. -The main characters have to entertain an audiance. -The main character is seperated from it's parent. -The main character has something unusual about him (Pinnochio is alive but made of wood and Dumbo is an Elephant that can fly). -The main character gets guidance from a little character who hides himslef from others. -The main characters have abusive masters (Stromboli and The Ringmaster)

Sunni 2 years 9 months ago Posts: 1095	I probably noticed subconsciously but never really stopped to think about it until now. It really isn't too surprising though, since they were made right around the same time.
	Recipe for nostalgia: Mix 80's and 90's culture. Stir in some good memories. Add a dash of reflection. Mixture should now taste bittersweet. Shake well and enjoy!
