    		 Mario has outsold the final fantasy series, sonic series and the halo series. I love bringing that fact up with annoying forums who keep saying how halo is SOOO much cooler than mario.

    		 I wish more Mario games would have online and his platformers would have 2 player (none of this 2nd star cursor crap).

    		 Mario rocks because all the games are quality. I've never played a horrible mario game. At least not in the main series of games with him as the main character. I don't know about that side stuff. I actually liked sonic more in the 16 generation,but sega ruined him starting with dreamcast and onward.

    		 Mario is one of my favorite characters ever! Counting everything from comics, cartoons, movies, and video games. If I made a list of the greatest fictional characters, Mario would easily be in the top 10. And as fistoflegend said: There has yet to be a bad main series Mario game. And not just Mario, but Luigi, Yoshi, Bowser, and Wario are awesome too.
