Calling all 80's X-Men Experts: HELP!

I'm conflicted on a few things. I remember an X-Title issue in the late 80's that featured Storm, Logan, and Colossus. In the story Storm was out in public and gets sexually harassed by a man whom she slaps (I believe) and pisses off. This man turns out to be a mutant and follows her back to the X-Mansion or some property?

Upon following up to attack Storm. Wolverine and Colossus are doing yard work. Logan is slicing logs with his claws and Colossus is doing something ridiculous, like yanking trees out of the ground.

Anyways the attacker is quite strong and makes Storm choose who he can kill. After thinking to herself and weighing the options, she chooses Wolverine because of his healing factor and dexterity. He takes the blast and nearly gets killed.

    My questions are this:

    1. Was this a Wolverine, Uncanny, Classic, or X-Men title.
    2. What was the attackers name.

He looked crazy and had energy coming from his hands like Havok but was a skinny dude with light long hair like Gambit. The way Storm was delegating whom he should attack made it seem as though this attacker was an omega level or some super strong mutant. I believe Logan was wearing the yellow suit. Or was it brown? Crap! I know he was smoking and drinking beer though.

I have this comic in my parents attic but I am too lazy to retrieve it and was wondering the issue # and aforementioned information.

    Thanks.
