I mean, seriously, television has just become a stinking pile of the same rehashed crap now why can't we have more diversity and all-age cartoons and all the great stuff that seems to have left since television kept growing in popularity?

I never saw a general thread on it, just a couple of "they don't make 'em like they used to" in comments for articles.

it's been done again and again since 2007 came around, but it's gotten to the point where people either don't care or they'll just go "i know how you feel" with just that in mind. i don't really post any replies about it at all anymore because well, i just have to accept the fact that television company producers keep moving forward with new concepts as the years fly by. concepts that only appeal to half of our generation that is

Actually, there's a lot of quality programming on. Especially Breaking Bad on AMC. One hell of a series.

The only thing worth watching on television anymore is Cops.

And classic movies. That is, if you HBO, Starz, or any other movie channel.

I keep my TV off for days at a time. All I watch whenever I have it on these days is Food Network, the Travel Channel, and any older shows or movies I catch while I'm skimming. If I can't find anything to watch in 30 seconds, the TV goes right back off.

TV sucks because I'm not a child anymore.

My childhood ruled, being a adult sucks, so anything and everything in my adulthood sucks, especially having to do with the media.

Most of what I watch these days is sports and pro-wrestling. I just really can't get into a lot of what's on TV anymore. I sometimes watch Adult Swim though but even that's starting to get too stupid.

I've pretty much given up on TV these days. I've resigned myself to that fact I don't have the same tastes as most people and most shows I like to watch get cancelled or are censcored when aired on tv so it's better to just wait for the dvd releases or watch stuff online. The last show I enjoyed on tv was reruns of Lucky Louie on the Comedy Network but they suddenly dropped that in favor of a crappy Cancon show called the Jon Dore Television Show.

Before that I was enoying Reno 911 but it got cancelled. Sometimes I watch Anthonly Bourdain but most of his episodes get posted to Youtube anyway. I watch South Park, Jon Stewart and the Colbert Report online now, I like that I don't have to put up with as many ads.
