Home Improvement for the SNES. I rented it out of sheer morbid curiosity and was not surprised by its lack of quality.

Or maybe Deadly Towers for the NES. Such a mess of a game.

No, it was terrible. It was just another generic platformer and nothing in certain parts of the game had anything to do with the movie. I don't remember seeing Luke exploring a cave with dripping green slime and avoiding spikes in the movie. The enemies in these stages had nothing to do with the movie either.

The music was very generic and the stage design was flawed, not being able to see enemies at the other end of a chasm until after you jump over it, when it's too late. The graphics were sub-par, making all the characters look like the kids from the Friday the 13th game. The game was frustratingly difficult and the quality wasn't enough to justify it.

However, I wouldn't say it was the worst game ever. THAT would have to be E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial on the Atari 2600. THAT was the worst game I've ever played. It was impossibly difficult, was very repetitive, made no sense, and was very rushed.

Falling into a pit and spending 5 minutes having to levitate your way out with your super stretching neck? And having to do this EVERY time you fall into a pit, which you can't see in the first place by the way, so it can just happen randomly in some cases? Characters that can appear out of nowhere and move 10 times as fast as you can so eventually you lose all the phone pieces it took you 3 hours to find and have to start all over? The once you get all the pieces, having to be in the exact right place at the right time which is randomly decided by the computer so you can "phone home", otherwise you lose the entire game. Yeah, not my idea of fun or entertaining.

I didn't much like anything the Sega Satrun tossed out there but the worst game I purchased was Wings Arms. I thought "oh joy a simulation game how great it will be to feel like a pilot for a day"... I was bored with the first few minutes. I know the game has been deemed a cult classic but really I could never find the appeal in it.

Pimp my ride for the xbox 360. Technicaly I didn't own it, I just played it at a friends house. Genric driving game where you go against a brain dead cpu and try to improve you r car more then it. You gained money for your improvements by "Ghostriding" ( a button sequence where your charecter danced next to the car) or by crashing into other cars. Because nothing makes money quite like car crashes!

Slan, this old DOS game for the pc. The music was kinda catchy, but it just looped and looped. You played this tiny purple smiley face, the game doesn't really explain what you're supposed to do. It's in an overhead style. The walls are random colours and patterns, items are just random characters and so are the enemies, and they chase you, and when they reach you you hear this sound effect like a munching sound, and if you get damaged enough you go from being purple to a see through happy face with a purple outline, you can change the speed of you and the enemies at the menu, but there is no point because anything over a speed of 3 (it goes up to like 12) you get a game over in a split second

I didnt think it was that bad. (Still have it)
However, I guess it depends on how old you were at the time, I was about 20 when I played it a lot. However, avoid a NES gae called "Pirates!" Same company nade it and you control a pirate ship instead of a sub. If you hated Silent Service, imagine a similar game where you have to move using the wind.

I actually liked Pirates! for the NES. I do agree though the parts where you're sailing around can get stale because of the lack of music so I dunno put in some Metallica or something.

Don't have a really harsh opinion of it myself, but you agree it's not for everyone.
